Welcome to the Garden Hotel Primavera! We are Isabella Bellani and Maurizio Farinelli and in 2020, due to the Covid pandemic, we decided to move to Switzerland and open the first vegan and non-smoking hotel in Ticino.
Our aim is to offer a different holiday to travellers, offering a healthy breakfast, welcoming spaces and promoting a vegan lifestyle that includes awareness and respect for people, animals and the planet.
The question we are asked most often is: "Why not also offer an omnivorous alternative in addition to the vegan one in order to satisfy more customers?" The answer is simple: We do not want to exploit and make animals suffer.
Our story
We have been working together in the tourism sector since 2010, first in property management and holiday home management, now in hotel management. Over the last 13 years we have had the opportunity to renovate, redecorate and promote dozens of holiday homes, welcoming thousands of visitors from all over the world. We really love the hospitality sector and with the Garden Hotel Primavera we have fulfilled the dream of having our own hotel, but above all of offering a Plant Based experience to our guests.
We became vegan in 2012 and for this reason when we opened the Garden Hotel Primavera it was clear to us that it would be a Plant Based hotel. We couldn't have done it differently. The choice to have a non-smoking hotel was also automatic, considering that health must be our main objective and consequently we feel obliged to offer our guests the opportunity to breathe well while enjoying the splendid views of our hotel.
