BRISSAGO ISLANDS
The Brissago islands are the only islands in the Swiss basin and are home to a wonderful botanical garden, the only botanical garden on water in all of Switzerland!
HOW TO REACH THE ISLANDS
From Brissago it is possible to take the boat that will take you to the islands and thanks to the Ticino Ticket you can have a reduction on the price of the ticket for the visit to the botanical garden.
On the island there is a restaurant where you can have lunch.
BEACHES
Brissago is home to one of the most beautiful seaside resorts on Lake Maggiore, first of all because the water in Brissago is among the cleanest, and secondly because it is perfect for families thanks to its two swimming pools and the restaurant which offers hot and cold dishes, pizzas, ice creams and dishes of the day.
Located a few minutes walk from the Garden Hotel Primavera is the free Bahia beach with the Bahia snack bar right next door, where you can enjoy excellent aperitifs, ice-cold beers and tasty sandwiches.
Do you want total relaxation? Then the small beach of Lido Crodolo is the place for you: lawn with deckchairs, small outdoor restaurant overlooking the port and a super chilled environment.
WATERSPORTS
When you stay on Lake Maggiore, it is a must to experience it to the full thanks to the various opportunities offered, such as Stand Up Paddle, the rental of motor boats, pedal boats or canoe trips.

EXCURSIONS
Trip to the Al Legn refuge(1804 m): a beautiful trip of about 1 hour and 30 minutes which halfway through the Sacred Forest, a special place which in March is tinged with yellow with the flowering of the Laburnum. For the more adventurous there is the possibility of reaching the top of Ghiridone at 2187 m.
Alpe di Naccio and Pizzo Leone: Leave directly from the hotel for a panoramic trip suitable for everyone!
Panoramic walk towards Ascona: from the Garden Hotel Primavera take the panoramic road that takes you to Monte Verità.
BICYCLE TRIPS
From the Gaden Hotel Primavera it is possible to set off directly by mountain bike, without however entering the traffic of the cantonal road, but rather taking advantage of the secondary roads well known by our guides, which will allow you to discover breathtaking views.

ART AND CULTURE
The lakeside of Brissago hosts a beautiful series of works by the sculptor Rolf Kröger which blend beautifully with the lake panorama. Enjoy the walk along the lakeside to admire them.
The Branca-Baccalà house is home to the museum dedicated toRuggero Leoncavallo, Italian composer and librettist of the 19th century, author of operas and operettas, who decided to move to Brissago at the beginning of the 20th century. Discount on the entrance ticket thanks to the Ticino Ticket.
